Born 1951, is an Italian architect, educator and writer who has worked, taught and lectured in several countries since the 1980’s. He has collaborated for over a decade, between the ’80s and ’90s, with Peter Eisenman in New York. Full professor in Architectural and Urban Composition at IUAV University in Venice since 1998, he has taught at Harvard, Cairo, La Plata and Auckland. He exhibited his works at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 1984, 1985,1996, 2002, 2010. Since 2009 he has been director of the series “Aesthetics and Architecture” for Mimesis Edizioni.
